- 1). Power off your DS. It could damage your DS if you attempt to remove the chip while you have a game on.
- 2). Push the R4 cartridge further into the slot. This causes it to pop out.
- 3). Remove the R4 card from the system by pulling it straight out of the slot. You can also remove the microSD card from the R4 cartridge to use it for other files.
