Open the California Secretary of State website for elections and voter information (see Resources for link). It has a variety of information on it, from registration deadlines to information on how to vote if you are out of state during an election. It also lists contact information for county election offices. - 2). Click on the "County Elections Offices" link. If you do not know the name of your county, click on the "California Counties Map" link at the top of the page. Locate your county on the map and then click on your browser's back button.
- 3). Scroll down and find your county where it is listed alphabetically. You will see a contact person, address, phone and fax numbers, hours of operation, the website for the office and email address if it is available.
- 4). Call your county election office and ask where your polling place is. You will need to give them your name, identification number (California driver's license number or your Social Security number or part of it) and address with street number, such as 1234 Linden Street.
