How to Locate a Voting Precinct

    • 1). Access the League of Women Voters' Smart Voter website at www.smartvoter.org. Locate the section titled "Find Your Own Election." Enter you street address and zip code in the appropriate fields. Use the "Election Date" drop down box to locate the election for which you are seeking your voting precinct. Select "Find Your Ballot & Polling Place" to continue.

    • 2). Select your address from the populated list of addresses. This will take you to a page detailing the upcoming elections in your area and voter registration and voting information. Select the link titled "Find your poll location." This will direct you to your state's designated polling precinct locator website.

    • 3). Enter the requested information. This typically consists of your name, address, county and date of birth. Submit the information to continue. This will yield a page detailing the name and address of your voting precinct. Record this information. Contact your Secretary of State or Board of Elections for additional information regarding your precinct.
