• New Yorkers eat out a lot, which can get expensive very fast. Your happy couple will appreciate a gift card to their favorite cafe, and it will come in handy when neither one of them feels like cooking (or dialing for take-out).

• Many New Yorkers have never done the typical sightseeing activities the city offers to millions of tourists. Get the couple tickets for the Empire State Building, the Ellis Island Tour or museum passes.
  
  

Maid Service

• This may sound kind of tacky, but who wouldn't want to receive free maid service? Hire someone to clean the new couple's digs to ensure they have plenty of free time to spend together.
  
  

Cash, Cash, Cash

• It's impolite for the couple to request it, but everyone knows cash is the most desired gift for any newlyweds. Slipping a $100 bill (or more) inside a card will help out with rent, honeymoon costs and moving expenses.
