How to Transfer From an iDisk to an iPad
- 1). Tap the App Store icon on your iPad and enter "iDisk" in the search box on the store's home page.
- 2). Tap the "Free" button next to the iDisk app, either on the results page or the app information page, and then tap "Install."
- 3). Confirm your purchase by entering your iTunes password, and then wait for iDisk to download and install itself on your iPad.
- 4). Tap your new iDisk app to launch it, and then enter your iDisk ID and password. These are the same as the ones you use to access iDisk on your computer.
- 5). Browse through your files and folders by scrolling and tapping with your finger. Tap a folder to open it, and tap a file to open a preview.
- 6). Tap the "Open in" button to send your iDisk file into any compatible program on your iPad. Your options will appear once you tap "Open in," and you can make your selection by tapping the option you prefer. The documents will be saved within the app you specified.
- 7). Transfer your files back to iDisk from within the app you used to work on them. Many apps have a built-in "Send to" or "Share with" button, also called the "Action" button, which will give you options for transferring the file, including the option of sending it back to iDisk.
