- 1). Log onto the BYOND home page. (Follow the link in Resources.)
- 2). Click on the "Join BYOND" link. Enter the information requested on the next page to create your free account.
- 3). Log in to your email account and click the link in the confirmation email you were sent by BYOND. This will create your BYOND account.
- 4). Go back to the BYOND home page and click the "Download BYOND" link. You must download the BYOND software to play Duel Monsters online. On the next page, choose the correct download link for you. There will be links for Windows, Linux and MAC users.
- 5). Download and install the BYOND software.
- 6). Visit the Duel Monsters Online page on BYOND. Click the "Now Live! Click to Play" link at the top of the page.
- 7). Choose from one of the five Duel Monsters games listed. Click the "Join" link for the game you wish to enter.
- 8). Enter your BYOND login information again. A "Launch Application" box will open. Click the "OK" tab; the Duel Monsters game will begin loading. It will take a few minutes to load the game window, so be patient.
- 9). Click on the blue "Click to join the game" tab at the bottom of the BYOND window. The Duel Monsters gaming window will open.

Click on the title page to enter the game. Once you do, you will be able to choose your deck of cards and read the game manual. From there, you will be able to play Duel Monsters online for free whenever you wish.
