How to Make an Emo Fringe at Home
- 1). Separate your bangs from the rest of your hair by using a comb to create a half moon-shaped part above your forehead. The thickness of your bangs will depend on how far the part is from your forehead.
- 2). Secure the rest of your hair behind the head, using a ponytail holder.
- 3). Comb your bangs straight in front of your face, removing all tangles. Any tangles left in your hair may cause unevenness when cutting the fringe.
- 4). Hold your bangs in front of your face, using your index finger and middle finger. The first cut will be made at nose-level, so hold your bangs with your fingers just below your nose.
- 5). Cut your bangs straight across at the tip of your nose.
- 6). Brush your bangs and sweep them to the side of your face to test the length. If they are too long, cut them again, taking off an inch at a time until they are the desired length.
