How to Add a Standalone Music Player to a Normal MySpace Page
- 1). Sign up for an account of Flash Widgetz (see Resources). This requires an email address, password, user name, gender, date of birth and country.
- 2). Click on the "Create Playlist" tab at the top of the page.
- 3). Enter a play list name and click on the "Create Playlist" button.
- 4). Select the named play list, which will have appeared on the left-hand side of the screen.
- 5). Click on "Add Music to Playlist." This will take you to a music search page. In the search bar, insert the name of a song you want on your play list then press "Search."
- 6). When the results are returned, click the plus sign next to the song you want to add. A notification saying "Song Added Successfully" will appear.
- 7). Click on the "Widgets" tab once you've finished adding music and select the style of player you would like by pressing "Create" next to the image. Select a color and adjust the auto play and shuffle settings according to what you'd like, then press "Next."
- 8). Select your play list from the "Use Existing Playlist" drop-down list and press "Go."
- 9). Click on the "Save" tab, review your settings then press "Save and Create Widget."

Click on "Other Site" then click on the "Embed" code to copy it. Log in to MySpace, select "Edit Profile" and paste the code into your "About Me" Section. Press "Save Profile" and your player will be available.
