Cute Ways to Decorate the Inside of Your Locker
- Cover up the plain metal interior of your locker with decorative wallpaper but check to see if your school allows tape in lockers first. Choose a colorful printed wrapping paper, scrapbook paper or wallpaper that you like. Cut sheets of the paper equal in size to the inside walls and door of your locker. Use tape to attach the paper to the walls and door of your locker. Add stickers, photographs and magnets over the wallpaper for further decoration.
- Create a photo collage on the inside of your locker door. Include photos of family, friends, pets, favorite singers and actors. Trim the photos into various shapes such as hearts, diamonds and circles to add interest to the collage. Add stickers and cutouts of favorite quotes to your collage. Frame a few of the pictures by gluing them to a piece of cardstock or construction paper. Trim the paper around the photo, leaving a thin border around each edge.
- Use the current holiday season as the theme for your locker's decorations. Hang wallpaper in your locker in the color and style of the current holiday. For Valentine's Day, cut out various sized hearts from red, pink and white paper. Layer the hearts with paper doilies and stick them to the door of your locker. Hang a silk garland of fake fall colored leaves in your locker during the autumn months. Decorate your locker with garland, tinsel, paper snowflakes and small ornaments during Christmas.
- Add color and personality to your locker using magnets. You can purchase decorative magnets or make your own. Cut out shapes from felt or foam and decorate them with markers and fake rhinestones. Add a piece of adhesive backed magnet to the backside of the shapes. Use the magnets to hang quotes, photos, notes or a calender in your locker. Add a magnetic mirror and magnetic photo frames to complete the look.
