Lets All Move to Canada

So what is it about the Cans? Well where to start really, there is literally hundreds of reasons why Canada is a good option at the moment.
Take the economy for example, did you know that the Canadian government were one of the only western countries to not bail out their banks during the disastrous financial crash last year? In fact when it happened in 2008, Canada's banks actually turned a profit.
Roger Simmons who works for Toronto-Dominion, one of Canada's largest banks explains;
"Our banks are structured very differently to that of those in the States.
Lots of people point to regulation as the reason why Canada (as a country) escaped the repercussions of the banking collapse, however, it has a lot more to do with the banking system and that of the housing market as a whole.
"
This financial robustness has seen Canada stand-up to the economic meltdown around the globe and prosper.
Many people now moving to Canada are flocking to what is an ever-expanding economy.
Areas such as Toronto have doubled in size over the last 10-years, in what is nearly 100% down to inward migration into Canada.
Canada's love affair with immigration Canada's natural population has one very prominent shortfall, which are the rates of conception in the country are well below what they need to be in order to keep up with economic growth.
This leaves the country and the Canadian government in a position that they desperately need skilled workers to fill vital industries.
So while you may want to move to Canada, the Canadian government are desperate that you do.
This, however, should not give you the impression that it is a walk in the park to immigrate to Canada.
The Canadian authorities frown on those that it deems to be a risk to Canada's national security.
Recently the Respect MP George Galloway was turned away from Canada for his support of controversial Palestinian party/group Hamas.
Speaking about the decision taken by Canada immigration that branded Mr Galloway 'inadmissible', the Canadian immigration minister, Jason Kenney, said it was clearly documented that the Respect MP supported, what were in effect, a terrorist group in Canada.
So the rule of thumb appears to be that while the country is an excellent option for those wishing to prosper and join in the expanding economy, beware of immigrating to Canada if you are a Hamas empathizer.
It might result in disappointment.
