How to Obtain a Tourist Visa to Honduras
- 1). Download, print and then complete a Honduras visa application form. You must complete the visa application by hand. To download the visa application form, see the resources section.
- 2). Write a check or get a money order to cover the consular fee of a tourist visa. The check or money order must be payable to "Honduras Consulate, United States." As of 2010, the consular fee for a tourist visa is USD $30.
- 3). Get copies of financial documents, such as your bank statement, that show that you have sufficient financial resources to cover your Honduras trip.
- 4). Make a notarized copy of your legal status in the United States. For example, if you are a United States citizen or permanent resident, make notarized copies of your U.S. passport or permanent resident card.
- 5). Obtain a letter from your employer showing that you will be on a leave of absence during your intended travel dates. If you are student, get a letter from your educational institution stating your continued enrollment at their institution; foreign students must attach copies of Form I-20.

Be sure to include all supporting documents, including your passport-sized photographs. You must also include copies of your round-trip tickets or itinerary. - 7). Wait to receive your Honduras Tourist visa; it should come within three to five business days upon receipt of your application.
