- 1). Stop the engine by releasing the blade control bar and wait for all the moving parts to stop.
- 2). Raise the cutting height. Move the cutting height levers on the wheels rearward. Move all the cutting height levers--on all four wheels--so the deck is level.
- 3). Perform a test cut and readjust the cutting height if necessary.
