- 1). Drill a hole by the breaker box, using the drill and 1-inch wood bit. Drill where you are going to put the light switch.
- 2). Measure the 110 wire from the breaker box to the light switch, using the tape measure. Put the switch box in where you are putting the light switch.
- 3). Clean the wires for the light switch with the wire cutters. Put the black wire on the right side of the light switch and the white wire and the copper wire on the left side of the light switch. Measure the wire from the switch to the ceiling fan location. Cut and clean the wires by the switch. Attach the black wire on the right side of the light switch; the white wire and the copper wire go on the left side of the light switch. Tighten the wires down with a flat-head screwdriver.
- 4). Put in the fan bracket and tighten it down with Phillips screws and a Phillips screwdriver. Run the wires through the bracket.
- 5). Clean the wires with the wire cutters. Put the black wire on the black wire and the color-coded light wires on the black wire. The white wire goes on the white wire and the copper wire goes on the green ground screw.
- 6). Put the wire nuts on the wires. Tighten them down by turning them clockwise. Cover the wire nuts with electrical tape and keep covering them until they are completely covered. This is so they don't come loose and for safety reasons.
- 7). Attach the ceiling fan to the bracket with the Phillips screws and the Phillips screwdriver.
- 8). Clean the wires for the breaker box. Put the black wire in the breaker; the white wire and the copper wire go in the ground bars in the breaker box. Make sure the breaker is turned off and put it in the breaker box.
- 9). Turn the breaker on and test the connections with the electrical tester to make sure everything is working properly.

Turn the light switch on and your new ceiling fan with two lights is ready to use.
