The Truth Behind the Oprah Diet Tea

There has been a lot of publicity about a tea diet which was featured in Oprah Winfrey's show a few years back and has been dubbed as the Oprah Diet Tea or the Oprah Green Tea Diet.
 The excitement over the diet has been talked about and has seen tremendous response even in blog sites.
 Reported results may vary but a lot have still attributed Oprah's weight loss, a few months after that show was aired, to the said diet.
  Here is the excerpt of Oprah's interview with Dr.
Nigel Perricone on The Oprah Winfrey Show: "Look 10 Years Younger in 10 Days" aired on November 10, 2004.

It was this part of the interview made by Oprah Winfrey with Dr.
Nigel Perricone which started the hype about the Oprah Diet Tea.
 Basically, from the interview, Dr.
Perricone was saying that by replacing coffee with green tea it can assist in weight loss because of tea's built-in fat burner capability.
After the show, Oprah began to drink green tea and went on a green tea diet.
 It isn't known how much weight Oprah loss due to the Green Tea Diet but there are reports where she stated that the diet has helped her achieve her weight and diet goals.
 There were also claims that Oprah has alleged that drinking Green Tea helped boost her energy and assisted her in maintaining her weight.
Based on the above excerpts from the show, Oprah's declaration that she is going to do it was enough to stir up interest in Dr.
Perricone's book, "The Perricone Prescription", a part of which describes and defines the 10-day Green Tea Diet.
 But it can be said that taking a look at Oprah's Weekly Meal Plan, tea is definitely one of her preferred drinks during her meals.
The truth is that the Oprah Tea Diet can definitely help obese people lose weight and, not only that, it can also help reduce cholesterol in the blood, lower blood pressure, prevent certain cancers, increase metabolism and lessen the risks of heart attacks.
 Not only will the diet be favorable for losing weight but it will also provide a lot of benefits for your health and well being.
 However, the diet will be more effective if you will also modify your eating habits by taking less fatty foods and changing to a more active lifestyle through non strenuous exercises like brisk walking.
