Directions for Pan Fried Hamburgers
- 1). Turn on the stove burner or electric frying pan to medium high and preheat the non-stick skillet until a drop of water falling on it sizzles.
- 2). Place the thawed hamburger patties -- seasoned on both sides with the seasoning of choice -- into the skillet and cook for approximately two to three minutes.
- 3). Flip the hamburger patties with a plastic spatula so the skillet is not inadvertently scratched, and cook the patties for another minute.
- 4). Cover the skillet and cook for an additional two to three minutes, or until the juices run clear when the hamburger patty is pressed down on with the spatula.
- 5). Measure the internal temperature of the patty with a stem thermometer to be certain it is at least 165 degrees F or higher. Cook a minute longer on each side for well-done patties.
- 6). Remove the patties from the skillet and place on paper towels to drain. Serve and enjoy immediately.
