My First Chef Knife Set Review! So here it is.. My first review! I've been a chef for 15 years now. That's old news.. A career as a culinary product reviewer... that is the future! I have uesd many different grade of chef knife in my life. I've used Chef knives that were stamped in China. I've used chef knife sets that were forged by hand in Japan. Each set has it's own characteristics, but the ones most important to me are cutting quality, and price. That's it. Can the knives cut worthy of their price tag? Let's be honest.. what else matters! The first knife set I'm going to talk about is the Working Chef Series by Saber Knives. From what I've learned, Saber Chef and Kitchen Knives are a new product in the culinary world, started by a guy in Central California. The neat thing I learned about Saber Chef Knives, is that they have the same philosophy as me. Can it cut well? Is the price worthy of the cut? Operating on such two simple cutlery philosophies, Saber Knives has proven to be AN INCREDIBLE CULINARY PRODUCT. Saber Knives retail for only $300 a set. $350 for the pro series(but it comes with an AMAZING CHEF KNIFE BAG). LIterally.. the best bag I've ever seen, but anyways. As I was saying. The knives only cost in the range of $300. First impression.. that seems like a lot. Second impression... only $300 for a set of WORLD CLASS CUTTING INSTRUMENTS ?!?! Saber Chef Knives are so good that I advise you to e extra careufl when using them. The likelihood that you cut yourself when using them is increased 10x because they're so sharp. I KID YOU NOT! You're just not used to sliding through meet and veggies like that. It's almost dangerous! You don't know what you've got til you've got it! That's what I learned about Saber knives.
