1). Decide what minifigs you want to add to your LEGO sets. Choose a girl or a boy torso. There usually aren't as many girls in the sets, so you may want to make some girl minifigs. The torsos are detailed according to themes or gender. Some torsos don't come with hands, so put the LEGO hands into the arms.
2). Get the pair of legs with hips and attach it to the torso. Choose a head according to gender and attach it to the torso. The heads vary just like people; you can find one with a beard and mustache or with stubble and a smirk. You can find different colored hair and hairstyles for girls.
3). Decide if you want to put hair or head gear onto the head. Choose color- or theme-based head gear, such as a helmet or firefighter hat, and place it on her head.
4). Decide the kinds of accessories you want to put onto your minifig. You can find all kinds of weapons, such as a pretend gun or lightsaber, a coffee mug or a broom. Attach the weapon to the minifig's hand.
