- 1). Launch the MS Paint application, and begin a new document.
- 2). Click the "Rectangle" button in your toolbox, and then click and drag your mouse over the drawing area until your banner is the size that you want it.
- 3). Click the "Fill With Color" button, click a desired shade in the color box, and then click your form. This action fills your banner with the color that you chose.
- 4). Click the "Text" button, and then click and drag your mouse over the button to create the space for your content. Type "Comments" inside the box, click and drag your mouse over the entry to highlight the text, and use the menus in the text toolbar to specify features such as typeface and font size. Repeat Step 3 to colorize the inside of the text box (if preferred).
- 5). Click the "File" menu, and select the "Save As" option. Name your file, and select a file type, such as "GIF," from the "Save as type" drop-down list.
