How to Do a Proportional Return in Photoshop
- 1). Launch Photoshop.
- 2). Click "File," click "Open," and then double-click the image file for which you would like to perform a proportional return.
- 3). Click "Image" at the top of the window, and then click "Image Size."
- 4). Check the box to the left of "Constrain Proportions," and then edit the "Width" and "Height" values at the top of the window so that they represent the desired new image size.
- 5). Click "OK" to apply the change.
- 6). Click "File" at the top of the window, and then click "Save As" or "Save For Web & Devices."
- 7). Type a name for the resized image into the "File Name" field, and then click the "Save" button.
- 8). Click "Window" at the top of the window, and then click "History."
