How to Hide Email Addresses in Outlook
- 1). Launch your Microsoft Outlook software.
- 2). Click on "New" in your menu options then select "Contact." Type "Undisclosed Recipients" in the "Full Name" field. Type your email address in the "Email Address" field. Click on "Save and Close."
- 3). Click on "New" in your menu options and select "Mail Message."
- 4). Click on "View" in the menu options listed in your message window. If the "bcc" submenu option does not have a check mark next to it, highlight and click on it to reveal this address field.
- 5). Construct your email message, then type the recipient email address or email addresses you would like to hide in the bcc field. Separate each email address with a semicolon.
- 6). Click on the "To" button. Select "Undisclosed recipients" then click OK.
- 7). Click "Send" to mail your message. Your email address will now appear in the "From" field of your sent message, and "Undisclosed recipients" will appear in the "To" field. If no email address is typed in the "To" or "cc" fields, the recipient of your email message will see your email address in the "From" field and the "To" field will be empty.
