How to Make Disappearing Ink Using Lemon Juice

1). Squeeze the lemon, collecting the juice into a bowl. Add a few drops of water and mix together. This will be the ink that you will use to write on the paper.
2). Dip the end of the watercolor brush or Q-Tip into the mixture and write a note on white paper. You will be able to see the writing while it is wet.
3). Let the juice completely dry. As it dries, it will become invisible. You can put your message in an envelope or fold it up. No one will know what you have written.
4). Give the message to a friend. Have them hold the paper up to a light bulb to reveal the secret message. The heat will cause the lemon juice to turn brown and the message will appear like magic.
