WoW Battleground Guide - Alterac Valley The objective in this battleground is to kill the enemies general.
The general has 4 guards with him, the guards are very tough but you can make them despawn by taking over the 4 base towers your enemy has.
Also, when the BG starts, each team has 600 points, which decrease if the team looses a tower, fails to protect the midfield captain and each time one of their players die.
I heard a lot of people talking about stuff like a WoW BG guide and things like that, this strategy has worked fine for me and it's not from any WoW battlegrounds guide.
What you need to do is have about 10 players defend your base, amongst them at least one healer.
Send a few stealthers to take over the enemy base towers as quickly as possible as they are not defended when the BG starts.
The rest of your team you will want to send to the Midfield area and start taking towers and kill the captain if possible.
By attacking all of these assets at once you will most likely win the BG.
When the enemy base towers are caped, have everyone but your defense advance to kill the enemy general, no matter what the midfield situation is.
This strategy wont bring you the maximum of points but you will win the BG.
WoW Battleground Guide - Arathi Basin The main objective in this BG is to take over and hold 5 points of interest, the Blacksmith, the Farm, the Stables, the Gold Mine and the Lumber Mill.
Holding these will give your team points, first to reach 2000 points wins.
The best thing to do here, like any WoW battleground guide will tell you, is to take over the Blacksmith as fast as possible.
You should then mobilize your team to begin taking over other points from there.
The Blacksmith is in the center of the other four points and will ensure a much faster access to them.
The next point you should go for is the Lumber Mill.
It is situated on a very high hill which will give you a better view of the battlefield making the defense easier.
If you hold those two and the point closest to your base you will win the BG.
WoW Battleground Guide - Eye of the Storm This BG consists of 4 capturable towers in a square like position and 1 flag in the middle.
By holding the towers you get points, you get more points if you capture the flag and bring it to one of your towers.
The first team to reach the 2000 cap wins the battleground.
You will find all sorts of strategies for this BG on the Internet or in stuff like a WoW battlegrounds guide.
This is a comeback strategy I like to use when things don't look good for us.
When the enemies has all the towers or 3 of them, I run to the flag, along with 1-2 more people with me, take it and hide it.
When the enemy has 3 or more towers, they will want the flag to speed things up, as they look for the flag your team will be able to get the towers back.
Once your team has 3 or more towers, you can then either return the flag if you think you will win or just keep it hidden until your team wins because you have more towers.
This has worked handsomely for me many times and I don't see why it shouldn't work for you.
WoW Battleground Guide - Strand of the Ancients This BG includes siege battle elements and is divided into 2 rounds.
The objective is to assault a keep.
Your team will one round defend it and one round try and take over it.
To take down the gates that protect the keep you can use steam tanks and seaforium charges.
The gates have turrets on each side which the defenders can use.
When you attack When you are on the offensive you start off with 4 tanks, have them all attack one gate to bring it down faster.
Once the first gate is down, rush in and take over the graveyards at the first level.
This will enable your team to get more siege equipment.
When you reach the last gate, the defenders usually cluster in the gate making it hard for your tanks to pass through, that's why you must destroy the turrets else they will ravage your tanks and your team.
By destroying the turrets you will make the assault a lot more easier.
When you defend When you are defending the keep, always start with the tanks.
As soon as they move in towards your gate, destroy them, don't let them deal any damage to your gates.
Also have bomb defusers at the gates to take care of any seaforium charges.
If a gate does get destroyed, have everyone defend the graveyards as they are crucial in this BG.
WoW Battleground Guide - Warsong Gulch This is a basic capture the flag scenario.
In order for your team to successfully capture the enemy flag, your own flag must be safe.
Here is a good tactic I use to win this BG if everyone listens.
Have a few people defend your won flag, it's best that those people to be DPS characters and a healer or two.
The bulk of your forces should take control of the middle area, killing anyone who is trying to get in their own base to defend or anyone who is after your flag.
Send a druid and 2 more to capture the enemy flag.
It should be easy for them if the middle team is doing their job.
Once the druid has the flag, he will run for the home base escorted by the 2 guys with him.
Once outside, the whole team will accompany him to the home base then return to the middle and keep up the pressure.
By holding the middle area, everything will be easier, capturing and defending your own flag.
90% of the times I used this tactic I won the BG and made many kills.
