- 1). Open MSN Messenger. Select "Contacts" from the top menu, and then select "Add New Contact." Under "Instant Messaging Address," type in "mtbot@hotmail.com." Click "Send Invitation" to continue. TBot will automatically be added to your contact list under the name "Translator."
- 2). Click on "Translator" in your contact list to message it directly. Once you do, it will tell you that your source language is English and show you a list of languages and ask you to select your source language. If you wish to change your source language, type the number that corresponds to that language and hit Enter. Otherwise, type nothing and hit Enter.
- 3). Change your target language by typing "Tbot change." Tbot will give you a list of 14 languages to choose from. Type the number that corresponds to the language and hit Enter. Now whenever you type a message, Tbot will automatically translate the text into that language for you.
- 4). Type "Tbot set" at any time to change your source language. Type "Tbot change" at any time to change your target language.
