- 1). Click on "Start" and then click on "Control Panel."
- 2). Double-click on the "Windows Firewall" icon in the Control Panel window.
- 3). Click on the "Turn Windows Firewall on or off" link in the left pane of the Windows Firewall dialog box that opens.
- 4). Click on the "Exceptions" tab of the Windows Firewall Settings dialog box that opens.
- 5). Click to select the "File and Printer Sharing" check box.
- 6). Click on the "Apply" button and then click "OK."
