How to Make a Banner in Microsoft
- 1). Open Microsoft Publisher by clicking on the program's icon on your computer's desktop or by clicking "Start," "All Programs," "Microsoft Publisher."
- 2). Click on "Banners" in the "Publication Types" listing. Select the type of banner design you want in the Banners gallery.
- 3). Select the colors, borders, fonts and other options you want for your banner in the "Customize and Options" dialog box.
- 4). Click "Create" to create your banner.
- 5). Double-click on the text placeholder box to enter the text you want for your banner.
- 6). Click "File," "Save As." Enter a name for your banner in the "File Name" box. Click "Save" to save the banner file.
- 1). Click on any blank area on the right or left of the text box on your banner.
- 2). Click on the "Picture Frame" icon on the "Objects" toolbar on the left side of the Publisher screen. Click on the "Empty Picture Frame" icon. A empty picture frame will appear on your banner.
- 3). Right-click on the empty picture frame. Select "Change Picture." Select "Clip Art" to select a graphic from Publisher's clip art library, or select "From File" to select a personal picture or graphic file from your computer.
- 4). Double-click on the clip art picture or picture/graphic file name to add the graphic to your banner.
- 1). Click "File," "Print."
- 2). Select the size of paper you want to print your banner on. Load banner paper or computer paper into your printer, if you haven't done so already. If using an older version of Publisher, click on the "Properties" button to select more printing options, if desired.
Not all printers can accept and print banners on banner paper. If your printer doesn't support banner printing, click "File," "Print." Click on the "Print a Single Tile" checkbox. Select the sections of your banner you want to print. Your banner will print on multiple pieces of letter size paper. - 3). Click "Print" or "OK" to print your banner.
