For All These Things the Unsaved Seek Yet the Father Already Knows You Need Them - Matthew 6 Vs 32
The peace and joy of the Lord are freely available to us to set us apart from the unsaved.
We should rest in that, and not be concerned about what we drink, eat and what we dress in.
OUR TEXT Matthew 6:32 (New King James Version) 32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek.
For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
The Christian life should be a supernatural life.
We should be on tops of things and at peace when we are in a dark world and things are stacking up against us.
We as believers should be thankful for what we have in life and possess Christ as a rich treasure and live in His presence daily.
As Jesus says, if the Father feeds the birds and clothes the fields with flowers He certainly knows our needs before we even pray to Him.
Doesn't that give you some peace that God knows what you need and He has it in hand whatever situation you find yourself in? There was a man that ran a few big orphanages for children in England, George Muller was his name.
Muller made a practice of never telling any person his needs but simply go to his prayer closet and praying to the Lord and the Lord always met his and the children's needs.
One day there was no food for lunch.
The cupboards were bare and he gathered all the children together at the dinner tables and he asked a young child to thank the Lord for the food that did not exist.
Right away there was a knock on the door and it was the milkman.
He told them his truck had broken an axle and that he would like to give the orphanage all of his milk on the truck seeing that it was going to go to waste otherwise.
The milkman had hardly left and the town baker turned up with a truck full of freshly baked bread.
He said, "I hope you can use this, the Lord got me up early today and told me to bake some bread for you guys and give it to you by lunchtime.
" Now people, if God can feed hundreds of children with a miracle like that, as the Father knew in advance of the pressing need that they were going to have, don't you think that He is aware of your needs and will fix them if you pray? God wants you to listen to Jesus and not only read the words on the page, but for the word to change you, and have POWER in your life to accept that the Father will supply your needs.
As we enter the last days and things get really tight, our best witness to the unsaved will be the peace that we have.
It's time to get ready now for that life and those times ahead.
I don't want you just to read my words or the words of Jesus, I want you to stand on the words by faith and conquer life and worry.
Be blessed Matthew Robert Payne
