Prophetic Christian Times and Jesus Christ

As I walk through the news and the many emails I get, the day and age we live in comes to mind alot. The thinking about this day and age from the Christian prophetic view point is varied. While many a Christian has a view on the end times, not all agree on the particulars. That is one thing about prophetic times that occur. Until the fulfillment of particular prophetic events on the Christian calendar, no one really knows what is to be literally fulfilled. We have lots of Christian prophetic teachings. All of these center on the bible, or that is what the teachers and preachers of prophetic truth tells us.

Moreover, as we walk the path of prophetic times, arguments occur as to what is really the truth. The truth for me, however, is pure and simple. The real prophetic truth for me is Jesus Christ, Messiah Yeshua. He is prophetic truth in real life and in its essence. There is no other viable prophetic measuring stick but Jesus Christ. He literally came to this earth to fulfill all the Prophets teaching of prophetic scriptures. Jesus Christ fulfilled everything to the letter of the law, the actual odds of any mortal man doing this is not even calculable. The times we live in now look forward to the coming of Jesus Christ. No matter what Christian prophetic truth you believe. The only matters is that Jesus Christ is really coming to this earth. It will be in our life time. It does not matter about the prophetic nature of America, Israel, the Middle east, the Anti-Christ, or the tribulation. The only prophetic truth that matters is Jesus Christ. The only aspect of that truth that concerns you is this question. Are you ready for the appearance of Jesus Christ? Will your heart and soul be a disciple or unbeliever? Will you have repented of your sins, turned from them and followed Jesus Christ with all your heart? The real prophetic truth you need to fulfill in your life is the salvation of your soul truth. If you believe all other prophetic truth, but don't repent and seek the Lord, then all is lost for your soul.

The main message today is that the Christian is not to get lost in all the end times prophetic speak. He or she is to maintain balance amid a world of sheer imbalance. The Christian is to follow the two commandments upon which all others are based.

Matthew 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.38 This is the first and great commandment.39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

If we get so caught up in the prophetic end times and forget what the Lord wants to do, what good is it? We need to be walking in love. Being concerned for each other, while reaching out to the lost in society. With this love is the portion of the believer to be a responsible follower and walk in holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord. On top of these things, we must also view the prophetic calendar and know where we are in the season of the Lords appearing. He told us to watch. So in the path we walk all these things must be formed together as we follow the Lord.

Prophetic times or not, we must be about the Lords' business. The Lords' main concern is the individual person. All kinds, small and big, any color, race, knowledge or the skill levels of a person. He wants to save them all. We must rid ourselves of bias, hatred, jealousy, rage, carnal behavior, indifference, and bigotry. As I say these things, we must realize though that as disciples of Jesus Christ standing and warning a nation and people of the coming judgment, they might see us as the very things we don't want them too. Jesus walked this earth and loved people. He also reproved and rebuked those religious leaders and others who were wrong. We also must walk according to scripture, reprove and rebuke with all longsuffering. This goes with Loving thy neighbor. But, we must also realize that if the world hated Jesus, don't be surprised if it hates you also.

Philippians 2:13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.14 ¶Do all things without murmurings and disputings:15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;

Today as those religious purveyors of prophetic truth go about the business of informing Christians of this truth, stands firm in Christ. You can know Christian prophetic truth according to scripture, but don't let your faith rise and fall in someone or even your own interpretation of that prophetic truth. Let your faith rise in Christ Jesus and him alone. If you do fall or trip along the way, He will be there to lift you up. Too many pastors and teachers put all their faith in one method of prophetic interpretation. Too many let their teachings become 'thus saith the Lord'. When it comes to prophetic insight, revelation, and fulfillment of events, keep it in the Lords hands. We use prophetic events as a time table on Gods clock of eternity. Like Jesus said "when you see these things begin to come to pass, know that I am at the very door"...Matthew.
