Divorce - Signs You Might Be Getting Close
A key sign is intimacy or, rather, a lack of it. Intimacy is more than a physical act. It is a sign of affection between the two of you. If one or two don't want it, the marriage can face two potential outcomes. The first is outright divorce. The second is a marriage that is basically one that exists because neither of you are brave enough to deal with the divorce. Either result is not particularly gratifying.
Fighting is a part of most marriages. Finances are usually the most common subject, but a good argument is pretty common regardless of what the subject matter is. If one partner is no longer willing to argue, then you have a major problem. The refusal to argue or just giving in is often a sign that the person, whether you or them, have given up on the marriage to one extent or another.
We all day dream about our future. Well, your day dream is often a representation of your subconscious and reflects the true views you have on things. So, what do you see in your future in a perfect scenario? Is your spouse with you or not? If you constantly have visions that exclude your spouse, then your subconscious may be trying to tell you something.
The truth is some marriages can be saved and some cannot. The vast majority of marriages go through good and bad years. Getting counseling can be a huge help as the lines of communication are opened up. If you find yourself in an unhappy marriage, divorce is always an option. That being said, marriage counseling is really where you should look first.
