- 1). Open the Motorola RAZR V3m's flip screen and tap the "Menu" button positioned in between the four directional keys near the top of the key pad. Use the directional keys to scroll to the "Settings" entry at the lower left corner of the screen.
- 2). Press the "Select" soft key at the top-right corner of the key pad. Navigate to the "Personalize" option and press "Select" to open the sub-menu.
- 3). Scroll down to the "Main Menu" entry and press "Select" again to bring up the next menu. Highlight the "Banner" option and tap the "Select" soft key to see the current banner displayed on your RAZR V3m phone.
- 4). Tap the left soft key labeled "Back" to erase the current Verizon wireless banner text. Use the number keys to enter in the new text you want to use for the banner in the same way you would enter letters for a text message. For example, tap the "2" key three times to choose the letter "C," and so on.
- 5). Press the "Select" soft key to save your new text as the phone's banner.
