How to Transfer a DVD to a Zune
- 1). Download and install DVD Decrypter.
- 2). Place the DVD you want to convert into the computer's DVD drive.
- 3). Start DVD Decrypter by clicking on the desktop icon.
- 4). Click the "Mode" menu in the DVD Decrypter window and select IFO.
- 5). Click on the "Stream Processing" tab on the right-side of the window and enable Stream Processing by clicking in the check box.
- 6). Go to the "Tools" menu and select "Settings." Click on the IFO Mode tab and change the file splitting option in the drop-down menu to "None."
- 7). Click "OK" to return to the main window. Set the destination by clicking on the small folder icon and then start the ripping process by clicking on the large icon of a DVD and a hard drive in the lower-left corner.
- 1). Download and install Videora iPod Converter.
- 2). Run the program and click on the "Convert" tab in the left window pane.
- 3). Click the "Transcode New Video" button and select the video file you ripped in Section 1.
- 4). Click the "Setup" tab and choose a save destination for the file by clicking the "Browse" button across from where it says "Output Video to."
- 5). Look for the "New Transcoding Job" section and give your video a title. Select "Quality Profile MPEG-4/320x240/768kbps Stereo/128kbps" from the drop-down menu. Then click "Start." When completed drag the file to the Zune software folder to copy it to your player for viewing.
