- 1). Access sites like Animoto and Flixtime (see Resources) to automatically combine your pictures, video clips and music. Sign up by creating a user name and password, then sign in. Create a free 30-second video by clicking "Upload from your computer" or pay a minimal fee to create full-length videos. Click on the pictures or video clips you want to use and click "Open." Click "Add More" and repeat the process until all your content is uploaded.
- 2). Add text to your video by clicking on "Add Text." Type the words you would like to appear on your video in the "Insert Text box. Add an effect such as a spotlight by clicking on "Add Spotlight." Click "Done."
- 3). Add music to your video by either clicking "Select from our collection" or "Upload." Choose from the music offered from its collection by clicking a template from the list. Click the style. For oldies, click "Oldies." Review from the list of songs offered. Click "Play" to review the song and click "Select" to add it to your video. Click "Upload" to upload music that is already on your PC.
- 4). Choose the speed of your edited video. Click 1/2 speed for a slower version and "2x speed" for a faster version. Click "Continue." Add a title, description and your name. Click "Create Video." The effects, music, pictures and video will automatically combine to create a finished product. Click the "Play" arrow to see your video.
