Hydrogen Cell Use in the US - Is it in the 10-Year Plan?

103 25
Can we convert to a hydrogen economy in the US in the Next 10-years? Well, it is possible, and yet, there are pros and cons to Hydrogen Cells.
Most do believe there is a way to introduce hydrogen fuel into the US market now although there have been some plans floated.
In fact, one online think tank has a decent plan.
Still, we have to wait until nano-technology can provide us with a solution to the fuel tank problems and challenges.
Some believe the President Bush stymied the potential to move to a hydrogen economy, but that is not exactly so, you see the technology wasn't there and the political support was not there, far too many interests involved, and moving to hydrogen too quickly would be completely disruptive.
Now then, I am not anti-Bush, but I see that many environmentalists, Futurists, and technology folks are.
Indeed, President Bush is no longer our President, and the game has changed everywhere including the DOE.
Hydrogen cells have challenges that need to be considered, and there is a lot to this problem, including infrastructure issues and there is still a lot to discuss.
Including issues of China and India coming online, "peak oil scenarios" and all this will affect economics, industry and yes, National Defense too.
We really need to figure this all out, and see what we can do to solve these problems ahead.
And mind you, they are solvable, problem is politics, monied interests, and the technology is not quite there yet.
Please consider all this.
