Hi, my name is Alex Cecilio. I'm a graphic artist and I'm going to show you how to multiply in Illustrator. So here I've drawn out two shapes that I want to have the option to multiply in the transparency. So I'm going to go ahead and go to my Window and at the very bottom there is transparency. And your window should pop right up and it looks like this. It's got the two circles. So I want, it doesn't really matter which one you do, you could do it to both but select one of your shapes and go to your blending mode, right next to the opacity and select it and select multiply. This is going to make it so that when you put your shape over another shape, you can see right through it except this isn't on top, there we go. So that way you've got your ability to multiply.
