- 1). Copy the ZIP file to your desktop for easy access to the file.
- 2). Right-click on the ZIP file. A context menu opens.
- 3). Click “Extract All,” then the Extract dialog box opens.
- 4). Click the “Location” folder, and navigate to the folder where the files will be extracted.
- 5). Click “OK.” The IPSW file, plus any additional files, are extracted to the specified folder.
