How Much Time Do You Spend Online?

What Is Article Marketing? How much time do you spend online, pushing your products or services? If you could spend all the time you wanted online, how would you like to spend that time? It really has to make sense that ANY of us would want to spend a little time being heard, a little time being noticed, some time taking in profits and perhaps even receiving praise from our online associates.
Else why would we spend so much time online after all? I have people ask me why I keep on clicking and designing webpages and joining affiliate sites or whatever else I'm doing.
And I have to answer, I think it's because I enjoy doing it.
However, I DO have to admit, I get tired of promoting products and not making sales.
I do get tired paying affiliate costs, but getting no return.
So should I be pushing affiliate links and making splash pages, all the time uploading squeeze pages, for product designers to get free advertising at the expense of my time and effort? I think the answer would have to be a resounding NO.
See I had to jump through a lot of flaming hoops to become an authority on what NOT to do when it comes to generating online profits.
However there was always that nagging voice telling me that I ALREADY had something meaningful to say.
I think I did and I'm sure you do too.
By posting an honest article about the taboos and the no no's of internet marketing, I create a pretense for education on the topic of hindsight.
I'm not selling anything at all yet my blog is chock full of information and great products.
The second you join, you will receive my newsletter and weekly be invited to my site, where you can read an article or two, or exchange comments with other posters.
You will also certainly notice my products and links to exciting affiliate programs.
But the bulk of my daily task is what I am doing right now; building my list by attracting readers with content that is relevant to the forum they are contained in as well as the destination to which they ultimately bring my readers.
It's no sweat of my nose.
I may still have a few lemon products or programs I promote, but at least I'm not spending all day in a traffic exchange or in a forum pushing a product that no one wants.
By using article marketing, I prove to the reader that I am a thinking person with a conscience as well as a beating heart.
This is important.
Not to mention that the person who takes the time to read my article is the only person I really care about.
I don't want anyone joining my affiliate program who can't even take the time to read an article.
We can turn the table around completely.
No one can call me a spammer, because I never send out emails promoting products or pushing affiliate programs, I just send my newsletter to people who enjoyed something that I had to say.
People who like me and are interested in hearing something new from me on the subject of whatever.
I give away my music for free at my blog.
I would prefer to sell it at a later time, but for now it is a great way to get people to visit me comment on my posts.
I guess I just got tired of being locked in to one way of sales, web design or blogging.
At the end of the day content is king and we have to escape the rat race.
It doesn't mean we'll always have success, but we can be free from constant online blunders and finally taste the satisfaction of building a list of subscribers who want to hear what WE have to say.
How sweet it is!!!
