- 1). Install audio conversion software.
- 2). Install an additional conversion file specific to Audible: Audible Media Player Filter.
- 3). Download the lame_enc.dll file, which you need to export MP3 files.
- 4). Open Audible Manager. Download one of your audiobooks to your computer.
- 5). Click "Edit" and select "Options." An Audible window will mention where it stores audio files.
- 6). Open Goldwave. Click "Open" from the "File" menu, and select the file you downloaded. A window will open with the heading "Please provide User Name and Password for Activation."
- 7). Type your Audible user name and password, and click "OK."
- 8). Click "Save" from the "File" menu. Select "MP3" as your file format.
