What Is The Cost For Nutrisystem Meals?
I often hear people say things like "I want to know how much it is if I'm only buying the food without the membership.
" Or, "how much would it cost if I only bought the meals a la carte or individually?" I will address these questions in the following article.
You're Only Charged For Your Nutrisystem Food: People often mistakenly think there are fees or costs associated with being a member.
There aren't.
Membership is completely free.
The only thing that you are charged for when you place an order is the food that you placed with that order (unless you ordered extras like books or videos.
) People often tell me that they think they're going to save money by only ordering the meals, but, in reality, that's all that most people pay for with each order.
The Cost Of Nutrisystem Meals When You're Ordering Individually: The cost of the meals vary.
In general, it's a good deal more expensive to order this way rather than it is if you order one of the various packages.
But, I'll try to give some examples here to give you any idea of average costs.
The basic breakfast items generally costs anywhere from $2.
00 to $2.
95 each.
For example, cereals run $2.
00 each but things like pancakes, muffins, and cinnamon rolls are $2.
95.
For lunch, you're looking at anywhere from $2.
75 to $3.
50.
You can get items like the black bean soup and the protein bars for $2.
75.
But items like the hot dog, pastas, and salads run around $3.
25 to $3.
50.
As you might imagine, the dinners are the priciest foods on the menu.
The most inexpensive choices are items like the sloppy joes, the chili, and the macaroni and cheese which costs $4.
75.
The steak with noodles and the pizza runs $5.
00.
And the most expensive items are things like the wraps and the lasagna at $6.
00.
The desserts and snacks are priced similarly to the breakfast.
The Nutrisystem Meals Are Much Cheaper When You Order Then In A Package: When you consider that you are supposed to eat five times per day on Nutrisystem, it's easy to see by looking at the prices above that ordering enough individual meals to meet this requirement may become pricey.
And most of the time, the company doesn't offer coupons on a la carte or individual foods.
But they do offer very nice coupons for packages.
And using these will often bring the cost per meal down very dramatically.
For example, the basic women's meal is $299 for 28 days worth of meals.
This is before you even figure in the coupons, which often offer $50 off (and sometimes more) or free food.
This generally runs you less than $10 per day which is much less than you would spend if you are trying to order the foods individually.
And your costs ends up averaging out to be about $2 or so per meal, which is much cheaper than the examples above.
