How to Beat Mephisto in Ultimate Alliance

1). Attack Mephisto as usual. When he raises his sword to attack, you have to steal it from him. You will have to grapple with him when you are close enough and press the correct on-screen button when it pops up to steal the sword. Have the other characters attack him while the character with the sword destroys the statues in the center of the ring.
2). Dodge the Jean Grey or Nightcrawler statue that will come to life, under Mephisto's control, and attack you. Focus on attacking Mephisto. Attack him until his health bar turns purple. Concentrate your attacks on Jean or Nightcrawler once Mephisto's health bar turns purple since trying to fight him now will do no further damage.
3). Attack Jean or Nightcrawler until they snap out of Mephisto's control and apologize for fighting you. The character will then sacrifice himself for the team and use the remaining bit of his energy to kill Mephisto for you.
