Minneapolis, MN…Back in 2006 when Keith Ellison was running for Martin Sabo CD-5 seat he was plagued by such things as unpaid parking tickets and a campaign finance fine levied against him for repeated failure to file finance reports on time. For some reason his wife Kim assumed responsibility for the lapses. Below is how one blog posting described how Kim Ellison covered for her husband of 19 years:

Yesterday Mrs. Ellison took the fall for her husband's repeated infractions of Minnesota's campaign finance law. She also took the fall for her husband's legal difficulties resulting in the suspension of his driver's license on occasions so numerous he could not recall them all.
