- 1). Walk north to Varrock and enter the Varrock West Bank. Withdraw your climbing boots or rock-climbing boots.
- 2). Exit the bank and take the west path through town.
- 3). Cross the Gunnarsgrunn bridge and walk east, past the Dwarven Mine and Ice Mountain.
- 4). Follow the path north and enter Taverly. Walk west, past the player-owned-house (POH) portal, and walk north to Burthorpe.
- 5). Walk west, past the Warriors' Guild, and follow the path up the mountain.
- 6). Take the north path and pass the wounded soldier. Turn on your Protect from Missiles Prayer.
- 7). Run north and then east, past the Thrower Trolls. Climb the wall on the northwest side of Death Plateau.
- 8). Walk west and climb over the rocks on the north side of the path.
- 9). Follow the path east, into the arena. Exit the first arena via the north gate and run through the second arena. Enter the cave on the north wall.

Follow the path north, through the cave, and exit through the door on the north wall. - 11
Run north and turn on your Protect from Missiles prayer. - 12
Walk west, past the thrower trolls, and follow the path south. Trollheim Mountain is on the east, and Troll Stronghold is on the west.
