How to Customize the Default Font on OpenOffice

    • 1). Open OpenOffice.org Writer.

    • 2). Click "Tools" in the top menu bar, and select "Options..."

    • 3). Click the "+" sign to the right of "OpenOffice.org Writer" in the left-hand pane.

    • 4). Click "Basic Fonts (Western)" under the header "OpenOffice.org Writer."

    • 5). Click the drop-down menus next to "Default," "Heading," "List," "Caption" and "Index," and select the fonts you prefer for each category.

    • 6). Uncheck "Current document only."

    • 7). Click "OK" to save your selections as the default.
