- 1). Power on your computer and double-click the clock setting in the lower right corner of your desktop (upper right for Mac computers). You must do this before the actual trial has expired. Once the trial officially expires you cannot extend it.
- 2). Select the date and time option and a window appears, with a clock and calendar selection.
- 3). Change the current date. You can set it back a few weeks or even a few years. When Office 2007 installs onto your computer it makes a note of the date it is installed on, giving it a date that it expires on, however if you set back the day of your computer by a year or two, the recorded expiration date doesn't come along for two years and 60 days.
- 4). Click "OK" to approve the selection. Make sure to continue setting the calendar back on your computer as the expiration date draws near.
