    • 1). Begin the tea party invitation with the full name of the hostess. Write, "(Hostess's name) cordially invites you to a formal tea party."

    • 2). Skip a line and then write, "The table is laden with treats and the tea is piping hot. Please pick out a pretty dress and join us for tea."

    • 3). Skip a line and write the day, date and time of the tea party. Write the address on the next lines.

    • 4). Finish the invitation information by adding contact information (both telephone number and email address) and an RSVP request (if you want RSVPs).

    • 5). Include a separate card with driving directions, if you desire.
