Solutions to Fix the 0×0000007F Error
The first step to solve the issue is to put in a "KStackMinFree" value to the computer's registry. Adding this value can help solve the error. The value is responsible for determining the minimum amount of kernel space that should be provided for programs like the Norton Antivirus and the Symentec AntiVirus. To do so, go to the Registry Editor in the system and then find this key:
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\INTEL\LANDesk\VirusProtect6\CurrentVersion\Storages\Filesystem\RealTimeScan.
When the key is located, right click on it and then choose New and then select DWORD Value. Type "KStackMinFree" to add the new value. Select the KStackMinFree value, right click on it and then choose Modify. Arrange the Base and set it to Hexadecimal before typing in 2200 in the given Value Field. Press Ok and then restart the program.
After you've done that, you should then use a "registry cleaner" to scan through your PC and clean out any of the damaged parts of it. The registry is a large database inside your system which stores all the settings and options that your system & software uses to operate, and is often an indirect cause of the 0x0000007f error. The problem is that the registry is often damaged, leading programs like Symantec Antivirus to be unable to read the settings it needs, causing the error on your system. It's highly recommended you use a registry cleaner to fix any outstanding issues that are inside this database.
