Everyone wants to lose the weight but most just don't like to exercise.
The reason why most people totally hate the word "exercise " is that it makes them think of work and nobody enjoys work.

Each person will want to lose weight for different reasons.
Some will have to lose weight because of health issues; others for a particular event such as a wedding or a family or class reunion, and still other just want to lose weight to improve their physique.

Or do not say either that you would like to lose about 40-50 pounds.
Be specific with your number.
If you need to lose 60 pounds then its 60 pounds.
Whenever you are more specific with your weight loss goal then you can create a weight loss program that will suit that particular goal and you will be more motivated to keep to your goal and to your program.
You must have a plan of attack for your weight loss goal.
Without a plan you will not know whereto start and you will not know when you get there.
You could be very close to your goal but because you did not have a plan, you quit too soon and your success was just a pound away! Your weight loss plan must consist of exercising and eating right.
You must change your diet to see changes in your weight loss goal and you must change your though process about exercising.
You cannot do one without the other.
If you do one without the other you will get frustrated because you will not get the results that you want.
