- 1). Download and install a file compression utility, if you don't already have one. You have many options, including WinZip, 7-zip and jZip. Choose whichever you like. For the purposes of extracting a split archive, they all work the same.
- 2). Move all of the individual files into one folder.
- 3). Double-click the .zip file's icon. It will open in your file compression utility.
- 4). Click "Extract" and choose a location on your hard drive to store the unarchived file or files. Your file compression utility will open all of the archives and recombine them. You do not need to click on the numbered files, including the .zo2 file, to open them.
