    • 1). Wrap gas-approved plumber's tape around the threaded port on the back of the range. This threaded port is the connection for the gas line.

    • 2). Thread the flexible gas hose onto the threaded port and tighten it with a wrench.

    • 3). Connect the other end of the flexible gas hose to the shutoff valve on the supply line.

    • 4). Turn on the gas supply line shutoff valve and place leak tester on each end of the flexible hose to check for leaks. If you see any leaks, turn off the gas immediately and tighten the connections.

    • 5). Plug the range into its electrical outlet. The range requires a 120-volt outlet with a three prong grounded circuit. do not remove the third prong and use the range in an ungrounded outlet.

    • 6). Place the range against the wall where you plan to install it. Place a level from left to right on the top of the unit and raise or lower the front legs with a wrench until the unit is level from left to right.

    • 7). Reposition the level from front to back. Raise or lower the front legs until the unit rests level from front to back.
