- 1). Download the MapSource software from the Garmin website (see Resources for a link). As of October 2010, the latest version is 6.16.2.
- 2). Click "Run," and wait for the file to self-extract. After extraction, the installation window appears.
- 3). Click "Next." Agree to the terms and conditions, and click "Next." MapSource is installed on the computer.
