How to Bake Textures in Modo
- 1). Start the Modo application. Select "File" from the menu and choose "Open." In the dialog that appears, browse to and open a model you have textured.
- 2). Go to the "Shader Tree" panel and create a "New Blank Image" texture. Place this new texture at the top of the "Shader Tree."
- 3). Change the "Mode" to "Diffuse Color." The "Diffuse" channel in any 3D application is where you create textures. Select a "UVmap" to use for the texture. This map tells the program where to place the colors.
- 4). Right-click on your blank image texture once you have painted your model, and choose "Bake." Save your work.
