I do not trust machines at all
I work in a bank and my system is my daily requirement like food. If my computer gets slow or stop working I have to be answerable to me customers. And definitely my customers aren't my relatives to spare me like that. So in loads of despair I called up the local tech support and there where I ran into my first obstacle. A female robot voice happily informs me that for my convenience the company has implemented a voice recognition system, and asks me to simply say which area of the computer is having trouble, hardware or software? I answered "software" but that dumb robot couldn't get it and asked me to repeat myself few times. The voice kept assuring me that if I cooperate she would transfer me to the person who can help me the best. Then it kept me on hold for half n hour with that idiotic hold music and voices to keep me awake from sleeping. Finally another machined voice came up with, "What kind of machine are you using? Desktop, Laptop, Printer, or Scanner?". To which I answered "Desktop". That stupid robot still couldn't get it and asked me to repeat it twice and then it said, ""I think you said Printer. Is this correct?" when I replied "No" to it, it said, "Please hold the line while I transfer your call to the printer department." I kept saying "No". After I got connected to the printer guy he asked me my problem. After I explained him the whole situation, he then transferred me back to the menu. Which I never asked for and I went through the process again. Finally I was been transferred to the person who can help me the best and yet the phone was quite. There wasn't any sound from the other side. There wasn't any hold music, no voice assuring me to hold. I realized the horrifying truth that I had been disconnected. The robotic voice had her revenge. It wanted me to crawl back to her. Instead I calmed myself and thought of doing some research over it.
I surfed on net for about an hour or so and I finally found the appropriate company who could help me with this. This company is iYogi technical service provider. This time I did my homework. I had gone through their forum and I found that there are many customer success stories. The testimonials were in their favor. So it seemed perfect for me to take their service. I called them up instantly after I finished my research and I got connected to this guy named "Mark" and he was one chatterbox but a superbly helpful guy. I think he got a habit of speaking a lot but he was supportive and well versed. He not only described me the problems my machine was have but also explained all the steps he performed. I also accepted the package of a year subscription when he offered me. I was really impressed with this guy Mark. He gave me a guided tour of my whole computer and made me learn what each icon is for. I totally satisfied with iYogi and I want to come back again, if I go through any problem.
